Chowbus was founded by Linxin Wen in 2016. The company was inspired by the challenges its founding team observed while studying abroad, particularly those faced by Chinese and Asian restaurant owners. Chowbus began as a food delivery platform and started developing its proprietary point-of-sale system in 2020. After officially launching its POS solution in 2022, the company quickly earned the trust of thousands of restaurants by providing digital tools tailored to the unique needs of Asian dining establishments. Today, Chowbus offers integrated solutions encompassing ordering, payment processing, restaurant operations, and business management.
